Kindergarten
Lakeview kindergarten classes are very busy learning! We spend
our year working on sharing, becoming caring people, and bully
proofing. We also play house, draw, cut, glue, write, paint, read,
and have fun! We focus on letter recognition and letter sound
association.
Kindergartenders really enjoy their field trips. They go to
the Planetarium to learn about stars and how far planets are away
from earth. They go to the fire station and learn about fire safety
and smoke. Kindergartners also go to the Adventurarium. The Adventurarium
is a hands-on science center. Students learn by doing experiments
like digging for fossils and going through a spider web made of
strings. They can learn about how pulleys work and about rocks,
too. The Adventurarium is awesome!
