...my legs were hurting like no other. I stopped to prick the thorns that were biting into my calf, when a growl errupted from the dense underbrush. I could faintly make out the large figure that stood before me. Even through the dark smog, its blazing white teeth made me jump out of my skin. -Logan
You can feel the music like someone pounding on your chest, you feel like running but your feet are nailed to the floor. The music is getting louder, louder, and suddenly the screen flashes red, tunneling your vision. You can hear them getting closer, but you don't know where they are. A grey streak flashes in front of you, you shoot just as you see it, BANG! Yes! Got one! Screen flashes red again and makes your vision down to a tiny speck, your dying and you have to find the other one and shoot him fast. Another grey streak, BANG! Yes! NO more red for now because we still have a fiasco with the king of the forest, the Bear. -Amy
On the other side of the creek, I saw the horns that made me shake like a paint mixer. I raised my gun, but it wasn't worth the shot because I never would have pulled it off, shaking like that. I slunk back and took off my backpack; maybe that would give a good rest. I snuck back and got a sniper-like shot. When the smoke disappeared I saw nothing. No horns. I thought I missed and was about to cry like a sissy when I just caught a glimpse of a tip of those huge horns. I got him! -Tayler
As my tires crumpled the dry mud, I jumped over my track at the crack of day. Everything was all wrong. As I looked down, my bike slid like a snake in water, my heart was beating faster than a jaguar and my bike and I were soaring like an eagle. Wham! My bike was a pound of lead crushing my body. A rock was jabbing me in the back. Then my body was a flashlight with no battery and I lay there, and smiled. I had jumped higher than I ever had before, but every greatness has its flaws. -Nicole
"Hey Sarah, I dare you to stick your tongue to the pole. " It was colder than a freezer so she did and it almost got stuck but she yanked it off like a frozen banana ripping off the taste buds there. It was funny but she did not think so because it was gushing blood, so we had to go back inside. - Allie |
