In Campbell County we are very fortunate to have extended junior high programs. In some cases we call them intramurals and sometimes we call them junior high sports. The sports that we offer at the junior high level like volleyball and basketball we have an intramural program for the kids that are not selected for the "A" or "B" teams. Students do not need to try-out for the school team in order to play intramurals. Sports that are not offered at the junior high (tennis and swimming) are offered as developmental programs. Both are offered for Twin Spruce and Sage Valley students.
Intramurals:
Volleyball, Boys and Girls Basketball
Intramurals are offered 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) at the Campbell County Recreation Center. Usually after the first two weeks of practice the games begin. On two days you will play games and practice on the other day. A bus takes students from school to the rec center. Practices go from 3:15 to 5:00, parents pick-up at the Rec Center. Teams usually travel out of town to one game or tournament.
Junior High Tennis:
This sport is for all 7th and 8th grade boys or girls. Tennis begins at the end of March and continues into May. It meets Monday through Thursday at the south campus tennis courts. The team usually competes against Miles City, Mt for two tournaments. Mrs. Schultz is the coach.
Junior High Swimming: ![]()
