Clinical Faculty Supervisor

    NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB: 
    To organize and supervise the placement of student teachers from the University of Wyoming, and follow the policies and procedures of Campbell County School District.


    JOB FUNCTIONS: 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Work with Human Resources, as well as building administrators and mentor teachers to find the best placement for student teachers.
    Counsel mentor teachers and student teachers when necessary.
    Observe each student teacher at least two times during the course of the school year.
    Assist University of Wyoming personnel with any requests regarding student teachers.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND MENTAL ABILITY:

    Ability to delegate a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
    Possess group dynamics and interpersonal skills.
    Willingness to work with any student teacher requiring placement.
    Willingness to work with the Human Resources staff.


    EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:


      
    Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming.

    Must be a certified staff member of Campbell County School District.
     
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods without fatigue or discomfort.
    Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, talk, hear and see.
    ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

    Air conditioned building.
    Occasional exposure to weather extremes.
    Fluorescent lighting.
