    NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB: 
    The purpose of the Detention Hall Supervisor is to carry out the objectives of the Detention Hall Program and to follow the policies and procedures of Campbell County School District. 

    JOB FUNCTIONS: 

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    See that each "first time" student is given a copy of the rules and regulations of the Detention Hall.
    Provide materials and assistance for those students electing to do homework.
    Keep accurate records of students' names, dates and amounts of time served.
    Turn in duplicate copies of these records to the Building Principal at the end of each detention period.
    Develop and maintain a detention hall atmosphere within the parameters of building detention hall rules and guidelines.
    Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding the progress and development of the detention hall program.
    Perform other duties or tasks related to the Detention Hall Program.
    OTHER FUNCTIONS:
    Communicate with the Building Principal about students causing problems during detention hall times.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND MENTAL ABILITY:
    Possess group dynamics and interpersonal skills.
    Possess problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment and analytical abilities.
    EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
    Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming.
    Must be a certified staff member of Campbell County School District.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    Be able to stand, walk and sit for long periods without fatigue or discomfort.
    Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
    Be able to push up to 200 pounds up to 30 feet.
    Be able to pull up to 100 pounds up to 50 feet.
    Be able to carry up to 25 pounds up to 100 feet.
    Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, finger, talk, hear, and see.
    ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
    Some employees may be occupationally exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials based on task and procedures required.
    Be able to tolerate noise up to 90 decibels.
