NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
The purpose of the Student Council Advisor is to provide direction and supervision of the Student Council and to follow the policies and procedures of Campbell County School District.
Supervise all Student Council activities.
Supervise Homecoming Week class activities sponsored by the Student Council.
Arrange transportation and supervise students on all approved student council trips.
Attend Student Council meetings.
Assist the Student Council in developing goals and objectives for each year.
See that minutes of all Student Council meetings are maintained.
Supervise the collection and expenditure of student council funds.
Recommend a budget for Student Council activities.
Supervise the election of Student Council officers.
Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding the progress and development of the Student Council.
Prepare a detailed annual report highlighting the activity accomplishments, participation levels and recommendations for improvement of the activity.
Perform other duties or tasks related to the Student Council Program.
May be responsible for supervising students on out-of-town activities. This may involve staying overnight.
Be knowledgeable of all rules and policies regarding Student Council activities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND MENTAL ABILITY:
Knowledge of CPR and First Aid.
Possess group dynamics and interpersonal skills.
Possess a broad specific knowledge with expertise in Student Council.
Possess problem-solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.
EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming.
Must be a certified staff member of Campbell County School District.
Be able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods without fatigue or discomfort.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to push up to 200 pounds up to 30 feet.
Be able to pull up to 100 pounds up to 50 feet.
Be able to carry up to 25 pounds up to 100 feet.
Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, finger, talk, hear and see.
Be able to tolerate noise up to 90 decibels.
Some employees may be occupationally exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials based on task and procedures required.
