JOB DESCRIPTOR: SCHEDULESCHEDULE:
NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:
Provide instruction and supervision in the weight training area and to follow the policies and procedures of Campbell County School District.
Formulate goals/objectives and programs for each student who participates in the Weight Room Program.
Assume responsibility for all students that are in the weight room.
Keep accurate, up-to-date records on all students who use the weight room.
Promote the general health and welfare of each participant and give appropriate attention to injured and/or ill students under his/her supervision.
Communicate with coaches to develop specific programs for each participant.
Assume responsibility for the cleaning and maintenance of all weight machines and equipment.
Develop and follow a regular maintenance schedule for all weight machines.
Develop and enforce weight room conduct regulations in cooperation with the athletic director.
Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding the progress and development of the Weight Program.
Attend District weight training in-service for strength and conditioning.
Perform other duties or tasks related to the Weight Room Program as requested by the athletic director.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND MENTAL ABILITY:
Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries course.
Knowledge of CPR and First Aid.
Have fundamental knowledge of weight training and weight training supervision.
Ability to select from a variety of instruction methods to teach weight training principles, specific lifts, and lifting and spotting techniques.
EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
Possess all certificates required for the State of Wyoming.
Universal weight machine
Various weight training machines (stationary bikes, climbing machine, etc.)
Able to lift 50 lbs and move it 50 feet.
Ability to maintain visual contact with areas being used.
Able to assist injured participants.
Ability to move various pieces of training equipment.
Occupationally exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials based on task and procedures required.
Ability to supervise in warm temperatures.
Tolerate chalk dust.
Tolerate noise and loud music.
