• Dr. Ayers will present awards received at the annual Wyoming School Boards Association conference.

III.  CHAIRMAN ANNE OCHS

A.   Celebration

• Hillcrest Elementary Principal Brad Gregorich will introduce the ESL students who will showcase their "Christmas Around the World" project.

B. Academic Report 

• Hillcrest Elementary Principal Brad Gregorich will provide an academic report for Hillcrest Elementary.

• Westwood High School Principal Kelly Morehead will provide an academic report for Westwood High School.

C. Facilitator Report

• Fine Arts Facilitator Rede Ballard will provide a curriculum update.

IV.  CONSENT AGENDA  - Any member of the Board may request an item be removed from the consent agenda for discussion.              

A.  Minutes

• Approval is requested of minutes of the regular board meeting held on December 12, 2023.

• Approval is requested of minutes of the special board dinner meeting held on December 12, 2023.

B.  Human Resource Actions - Approval is requested of actions taken by the Human Resource Department based on recommendations made by supervisors.

C.  Approval of Warrants  - Administration requests ratification of warrants released between the board meetings of December 12, 2023, and January 9, 2024, per the Resolution to Conduct Business adopted December 12, 2023. Administration recommends approval of current warrants as provided.

D.  Ratification of Bids and Quotes - Administration requests ratification of the following bids and quotes according to the resolution to conduct business adopted on December 12, 2023:

E.  Approval of Bids and Quotes - Administration requests approval of the following bids and quotes:

1. Campbell County High School, Twin Spruce Junior High, Wright Jr-Sr High School, Sage Valley Junior High Gym Floor Finish

3. Sage Valley Junior High Water Heater Replacement

F. Approval of Contracts and Agreements - Administration requests approval of the following contracts and agreements:

1. Campbell County High School and Thunder Basin High School Graduation Agreement with CAM-PLEX
2. On-Site Professional Development with Marzano Resources
3. Special Education Residential Services Agreement In-State Placement with Northeast Wyoming Board of Cooperative Educational Services (N.E.W. BOCES)

G.  Policies 

• Administration requests approval of revisions to Policy 4390 Child Abuse and Administrative Regulation 4390-R Child Abuse.
• Administration requests approval of minor revisions to Policy 4610 Solicitation and Use of District Mail Services and Administrative Regulation 4610-R Solicitation and Use of District Mail Services.
• Administration requests approval of minor revisions to Policy 4630 Holding Office (Non-Political) and Administrative Regulation 4630-R Holding Office (Non-Political).
• Administration requests approval of minor revisions to Policy 5131 Alcohol, Drugs, and Controlled Substances and adoption of information taken from Policy 5131 to separate the policy into a new regulation, Administrative Regulation 5131-R Alcohol, Drugs, and Controlled Substances.

H. Mileage Reimbursement Rate

• Administration requests approval of the new mileage reimbursement rate in accordance with Administrative Regulation 4260-R, Mileage Reimbursement, which aligns with Internal Revenue Service guidelines.

I. Student Expulsions 

• Administration requests Students #24, #25, #26, #27, #28, #29, and #30 be expelled for one calendar year with early re-admittance under strict probation.
