Weather Monitoring

Worried about weather?

The Campbell County School District uses Thor Guard, a system designed to detect and predict lightning in specific areas, to help give families peace of mind as they look at bus routes and athletic practices or competitions.

To use, click the Thor Guard link. Once on the website, you can choose any of the locations below to see the predicted weather status. Green means all clear. Yellow means caution and red qualifies a red alert.

Locations include:

  • Thunder Basin High School (Dalbey Park, Sage Valley Junior High)
  • Campbell County High School (Twin Spruce Junior High, Energy Capital Sports Complex)
  • Cam-plex (Cam-plex Park)
  • Bell Nob Golf Course
  • Bicentennial Park
  • Wright Junior-Senior High School (Hay Creek, Ball Fields)

If you have questions or have difficulty accessing ThorGuard, please reach out to Michelle at 307-687-4547 or mheitmann@ccsd.k12.wy.us
