Little Powder School nears completion

The new Little Powder School is nearly complete!

Earlier this week, school district trustees visited the new building to take stock of its progress. While there, they also popped over to the current Little Powder School to visit staff and compare the two buildings.

A major highlight completed this week is that power is now on in the building! What’s left? Furniture and playground installation, along with educational technology setup. Teachers and staff will begin moving things in throughout the month of December before students kick off their first day of school in the new building in January.

The district is still determining when a grand opening for the school will take place, but don’t worry, we’ll let you know!
