To: Parents of Current 4th-7th Gr Students

What: Instrumental Screenings for the 2018-2019 school year for students who are currently not enrolled in band or orchestra.

When: March 26 & 27 at 5-7 pm, 10-15 minutes time slots

Where: Lakeway Learning Center, 525 West Lakeway Road

The CCSD music faculty will be holding screenings to determine instrument placement for new incoming instrumental (band and orchestra) students for the 2018-2019 school year. The event will take place on March 26th and 27th from 5-7 pm at the Lakeway Learning Center, 525 West Lakeway Road. Screenings will take 10-15 minutes and are open times without appointments. Your teacher will give input and choose two (2) acceptable choices for next school year.
Students who elect to be part of the instrumental music program need to have an instrument. If you do not have an instrument for your child, you can rent from local and regional music stores, or the district has a limited number of instruments for rent for a once-a-year fee. Families who qualify for free or reduced-priced meals through the school lunch program can rent instruments through the district for no cost or at a reduced cost.
