Notice to All Employees - Non-Discrimination

NOTICE TO ALL EMPLOYEES

 This Notice is being posted as part of the remedy agreed to pursuant to a Conciliation Agreement between the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC") and Campbell County School District, #1. This notice will not be defaced or altered and will remain posted in each location accessible to and frequented by employees and applicants for employment, where notices and information concerning employment are typically posted. This notice will remain posted for three (3) years from the date it is signed by a representative of Campbell County School District, #1.

Federal Law requires that there shall be no discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment because of the individual's race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy, or genetic information with respect to hiring, promotion, firing, compensation, or other terms, conditions, or privileges of employment.

It is also the policy of Campbell County School District, #1, to comply with all provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Equal Pay Act of 1963, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended, Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act of 2023. If any employee is found in violation of this policy, he/she may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.

Campbell County School District, #1 will ensure that officials responsible for personnel decisions and terms and conditions of employment will abide by the requirements of all federal equal employment opportunity laws and will not retaliate against employees who file EEO complaints.

Campbell County School District, #1 will not in any manner restrain, interfere, coerce, or retaliate against any individual who exercises his or her right to oppose practices made unlawful by, or who participates in proceedings pursuant to federal equal employment opportunity law.
