3750 Safety

  • The safety and welfare of students, employees and others when on Campbell County School District property or participating in activities sponsored by the District must be of primary importance. Therefore, a safety program will be developed which will include, but not be limited to, the development of:

    Accident prevention procedures,
    Vehicle safety programs,
    Fire prevention,
    Emergency/crisis plans,
    Accident/safety reporting procedures,
    Hazardous material handling procedures,
    Facility and workplace safety programs,
    In-service safety training,
    OSHA compliance procedures.
    Administrative and supervisory personnel will become familiar with and enforce those adopted safety rules and regulations applicable to operations within their specific areas of responsibility. They will also assist in development of awareness among District employees regarding the importance of safety to themselves, their co-workers and the students and public they serve.

    All employees must become familiar with and comply with all adopted safety rules, regulations, practices and procedures applicable to work they perform for Campbell County School District.
