I. Elementary Grades K-6

 

A physical examination is recommended for each student prior to entry into kindergarten.

 

II. Junior and Senior High Grades 7-12

 

A physical examination is recommend for each student prior to entry into seventh grade.

 

Any junior high or high school student who engages in an interschool athletic activity other than that which may occur as part of a physical education class or in-district intramural activity must be given a physical examination by a medical doctor, nurse practitioner, physician's assistant, or doctor osteopathy prior to the beginning of the activity season. The cost of the physical is the responsibility of the student.

 

The examination must be given no earlier than May 1 prior to the beginning of the activity year.
